KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

I love eating raw. It gives me so much energy. I feel lighter and I have less cravings for processed and refined sugar foods. Love the website and recipes.

I startede my Raw journey about a year ago. I am working on reversing my diabeties. I do not have a Vitamix or a Bendtec, I am using a really old blender that can not handle Kale or Collards, so wining the blender would bring me that much closer to my health goal.

I am into raw food, because there is no other food category I can think of that makes you feel as happy, energetic, connected, and beautiful! I am nearly 3 months raw and have lost 25 pounds (so far) and I can’t express that amazing changes in my life, my attitudes, my everything! Forget emotional eating! Find raw food and rediscover your zest for LIFE!!! You really are what you eat!

KitchenAid is my favorite appliance brand! I am looking into eating more raw food for a few different reasons. One is a crowding out effect. I want to fill my diet with whole, nutritional foods that will eventually eliminate most of the junk from my diet. I am really looking forward to trying some of your recipes!
