KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

I love blending, juicing and making my raw foods. I love the energy I get from eating 80/20 this way in the summer and how my body feels like a rockstar! One of my favorite parts is prepping from the Farmer’s Market to the cutting board. And with one whoosh! with the blender/juicer is all magic! Thank you for delivering such awesome recipes and presenting them with your beautiful photography!

Hi! My name is jess and im twenty years old. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism so I went vegan for my health. I saved for nearly six months to travel across the US to become raw food certified. I have lost nearly ten pounds and feel the best I have ever had. My father has diabetes and I want to put him on a raw food diet. I am now in desperate need of better equipment and have been scraping and saving everywhere i can. Getting raw food certified is the best choice i ever made. I want to enlighten people especially in alabama how raw food can change their lives. I love making raw foods and watching peoples faces light up as they taste my creation! I love your site. Congrats on your success!

Wow! I need a good blender! Mine is small and old as Methusalah! Ha, ha! I make lots of smoothies but would like to also making ‘green drinks’, and raw veggies to help me in my fight against my liver tumor of 3 years! I’m trying hard to avoid the major surgery that the doctor wants to perform! So I could really use this great blender! :o)

I have a friend that has changed her whole life with this type of eating never believed it would work but she is a different person and feels so much more alive with energy!!! I want to feel this way and being in my later years would love to see what changing my eating habits can do, but the blender is not cheap and things have been tough lately so would love to win this so can put some zip in what years I have left. Never feel it is too late and life is not over till it is so I’d like to go for it. Thanks you and you senior as I it is never too late. Let’s show them younger people that we are here…..

Coming off a 21 day fast 2 months ago (in an attempt to treat chronic inflammation), I started eating all raw. I’m maintaining around 80% raw up till now. It feels so good to value and appreciate every morsel I put in my mouth!
