KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

I am new to raw food eating and am loving the way I feel on it. I just released 67 lbs and now want to incorporate clean eating into my family’s day. They hesitantly try my raw food, bout most of the time, they are quite impressed! Hank you for your generosity of donating the blender. Whoever wins it will put it to good use, I am sure! Thanks everyone for your inspiring stories!

Hi, I started my raw food journey April 22, 2012. I remember the date because it is sort of like a birthday. A new beginning. Raw put a spring back in my step and caused many great changes too numerous to list here. I am still in need of many “tools” in my raw kitchen, but I know I will get it all together eventually. It would be great to win the blender. Good Luck to everyone!

I love your website! I came across it (just today!) while searching for a recipe using ingredients I had on hand. Your site had a recipe for me and so much more! I spent so long looking at all the wonderful recipes that I ran out of time to make the recipe! Raw Food = Energy for me. I thank you for spending the time experimenting in the kitchen and sharing it. Karen

Raw because the doctor is within you and you need to feed your body the right fuel. I had health problems myself and I am about to go a holistic school and study nutrition and herbs.
