KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

I love raw food for it can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. I was amazed at the 1st raw book I looked at from the library. I couldn’t believe everything that was raw. A green salad will always be the basis of my lunches, however raw desserts will always win me over anything baked.
thanks for the chance at the giveaway

For the Love of it! I have been changing up my yoga classes, starting putting more bounce to my walking routine, increasing my weights, so why not go raw?! I turned 54 and I feel great, I have a best friend that is my total inspiration, she’s 78, gorgeous, has done yoga all her life, was a areobics instructor back in her hey day and meditates. I want to be like her when I grow up!

I can’ narrow it down to one thing that interests me about raw food. I have been raw for almost 5 years now, have lost over 100 pounds and have healed many of my ailments and diseases. I have since gotten my raw food certifications and am helping other people lose weight and feel great. There is nothing like raw, living food to heal and rejuvenate. The blender would be a great addition in helping me to support others in their goals and to get my family involved more. Thanks for all you do!

I love to live and feel good while I live and therefore, I think, in fact I know that raw foods contain the highest nutrient content and less fact, sugar and salt. I feel better, have more energy and mind clarity. I became extremely serious in finding ways to supply my body with nutrients with minimal stress on my liver, after I was diagnosed with a liver disorder over a year ago. That is how I found you website and joined your newsletter group. I truly enjoy being a part of this network.
