KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

I eat raw because that is how we are meant to eat. Food that should be put in our bodies should not be something of modern technology, just from nature.

Raw is real, unadulterated, deliciousness. I feel better eating it, simple as that.

More and more research is showing the benefits of eating “raw”. When you do so,
and live the results, you want to keep going in the “raw” direction !

I got into eating raw foods very recently and feel great! Wish I started way early in life! I feel more energetic and alive. Been trying to get my husband to change his eating habits for healthier reasons.

I have been reading and attending raw meeting and groups for the past year. I have seen and fully understand the benefits of LIVING RAW. Sept 1st is the big day for me ,its a challenge i am ready to take . Completely! Sometimes i feel i need a stronger support system not just the blogs maybe a coach or a good friend on my walk?
However thank you ,thank you ,thank you for continuing to share the love ,light and all the amazing things that Raw living brings to life. 🙂
