KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

Hi RAWMAZING my current blender is leaking green smoothies down through the bottom of it!, blends everything into a chunky pulp rather than a silken smooth Goddess milk, the plastic appears to be deteriorating as we speak and I am so keen to make nutmilks, creams and smoothies to inspire my cells and to share the love with my environment!! I want to win so we can all win! Share the love!

Nice that you’re giving it away, but if you like it so much, why aren’t you keeping it? I’m puzzled.

I bought it to try it and put it through it’s paces so I can let you (Rawmazing Readers) know if it is a suitable substitute for a more expensive blender like the vitamix and give it away in appreciation of my readers. 🙂 It’s a contest.
