KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

I’m a raw food eater from 3 months and it changed my life! I feel healthy, strong, happy and excited about the future! I lost 20 lbs, I recovered from acne, permanent fatigue and depression. I also found love of my life! Yes, it’s only in 3 months. What will be next? 🙂 Yesterday I burned my poor blender on raw humus, so I would love to get that beauty 🙂 Greetings from Poland 🙂 We are reading you guys from here 🙂

With a number of health problems that come with growing older, j believe a change in diet with more raw foods will help. Their living enzymes and nutrients will help nourish, repair and heal my body. Thanks for giving us all the opportunity to win the blender.

I am interested in raw foods because…
Actually I am not. No more than anyone else. But I would very much like to win this blender, so that I can give it to my wife which is very interested in raw foods.

Wow, thank you for contributing in my own personal weight loss and inspiration to enjoying raw food. I have reached my personal goal and would love to see a blender that is as good as a blendtec(which my former roommate owned but took with her). Hoping to win,
Carla

As I get older I am realizing what a powerful connection there is between what I eat and how I feel. I feel my best when I eat largely organic and raw foods, and am attempting to make more and more raw food recipes. Thank you for creating so many healthy and enticing recipes.
