KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

The chance to get more living food into a living body!

Actually I missed saying the reasons…living food, healthier for the entire person, enzymes to aid in digestion, and living lower on the food chain! (Plus I prefer orgainc!)

I’m 57 year old and been so sad of what I see in the mirror, my excess weight and new joint pain I receive as time go on. Since going raw, green smoothies, juicing smoothie, juicing, sprouting, dehydrating and my interest in your books and great website that I share with my co-worker. I been feeling great. I no longer moan about my old age, can’t lose weight and poor Linda. My co-worker Becca is going raw with me, because she saw a big different in me over all. I lost 30lbs and got Linda back.I look and feel like when I was 32yr old. Thank you Rawamazing, because your photos and you Susan are the best. I need a new blender for protein smoothies. Linda

I have wanted to go raw for some time, but now my husband is finally receptive to adding some raw dishes to our diets. A blender like this would certainly help!

I eat raw because it promites LIFE in 3 ways: (a) it’s cruelty-free: why should another creature suffer or die to keep me alive? (b) it’s way healthier than cooked food–the LIVE enzymes in uncooked fruits and vegetables ensure perfect digestion and nutrition absorption; (c) it is easier on the planet: no gas or electric range needs to be fired up to make a raw meal; no farmlands wasted in raising animals that will be killed. Both the LIFE of the planet and other creatures are spared.
