What is so hard is when my family is on a trip, and we are at hotels that have processed everything. We have to think ahead and pack some whole foods. Sometimes bring the Vitamix. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!~Sonja

My biggest challenge is that all my life I thought food (all food) was my enemy. Now that I am finding that proper nutrition is what powers me or actually empowers me it is hard to accept that it is okay to eat.

My biggest challenge to eating healthy is the lack of fresh organic local food during the winter months. Additionally stress triggers a sense of “need” for something salty and crunchy – a treat or reward.

Not quite sure what to serve together. What is the main course vs what is the side dish, along with making sure there’s enough proteins and other important nutrients.

My biggest challenge to eating healthy is choosing to overeat sugary foods on a daily or every-other-day basis. Once a week or every two weeks is ideal but have yet to do that, especially around any holidays.

I would have to say there are 2 big challenges I have be undertaking. 3 months ago I took a vegan lifestyle. The hardest part is giving up cheese!!! I crave it so much but dairy just makes my body hurt. I feel much better not eating it but there are times I want to rip open a bag of yummy cheese and quickly devour it! Also since becoming vegan I found I have a gluten sensitivity. So now my options are even more restricted if the family wants to go out to eat or eating at a friend’s house. I have been making it work very well so far. I plan to include raw vegan days into my week starting soon. I am very happy I have gotten this far! 🙂
P.S. I am the only vegan in the house with one vegetarian & 4 meat eaters.
