My biggest challenge is eating raw foods more consistently. In the cold winter months, I find myself very much longing for warm (cooked) comfort foods such as chili, soup, and mock meatloaf. These cookbooks are exactly what I need to bolster my raw food recipe collection to combat such cravings!

I live in a household with many dietary preferences and restrictions but with limited and fixed incomes it is often a challenge to maintain healthy eating habits. I am trying to find meals that will entice everyone in my family to eat healthier.

My biggest challenge is getting my family to want to eat healthier. They equate healthy with unappealing, boring even tasteless food. It makes it difficult for me when there is junk in the house to remain resolved to my eating goals. I know when I eat well I feel better and have more energy. This is something I want for my family and recommend to my clients as well. I love your recipes and I think my family and clients would be excited to try them. It could be the beginning of something wonderful for all of us!

My biggest challenge is maintaining the healthy path; I’ve done it yet, but in these months I’m at home without job, and it’s not always easy to slow down the mind. Thanks for helping colourfully:)

My biggest challenge is dialing back the meat in our meals and having my family still feel satisfied (read: husband).

My biggest challenge to eating healthy is convincing my family that it is important. My husband will complain about meals that I prepare instead wanting in his words ‘Meat and Potatoes ‘. I also try to make healthy raw desserts and he says he misses the pies and cookies I used to make when we were first married. I believe the saying ‘When you know better, you do better ‘. He says that we are healthy and other family members that drink pop and eat what I consider poorly have lived a long life. I want and try to eat healthy, but I’m constantly having to justify choices. Thank you!
