My biggest challenge to eating healthy is COFFEE!! I love it so! I know it’s not ideal for me…but each time I’ve given it up for health reasons , I always go back to my vice!

I started being 100% Raw Vegan on February 1st, 2015 and my biggest challenge is feeling the disappointment when my husband doesn’t want to go out to what use to be our routine restaurants. He feels there is nothing I can eat there even though I explained that there is. I don’t like thinking I’m causing him to not have fun, since eating out together has become such an Social Event and he is not yet Vegan or Raw Vegan. I say “not yet” because I’m having faith that by my example and what it does for my health, he will also want it for him.

I love good healthy food, but am a brittle diabetic, so still have to be careful how many carbs, esp. that I eat, and although I stay low on carbs, the desserts really tempt me, but I stay away, if I make them, I would be too tempted to eat them ! But love the Rawmazing web-site !!! And have shared it with others.

My biggest challenge is finding something my husband likes to eat since he does not like vegetables. However, he tends to accept raw over cooked and I am so happy when I see one of your recipes that I know he will eat with a smile! Thanks for all you do.

I have 2 larger challenges to eating healthy..
    1. Now that I’m pregnant feeling satisfied with my once favorite healthy foods 🙁
    2. Getting by husband on board with purchasing, making, and eating healthy foods.
    Fingers crossed,
    Katharine Elks

    Challenges:
    1) TIME! Busy working lifestyle, so having enough time to make meals is always difficult.
    2) Ingredients. I don’t have many ingredients around the house, especially specialty ingredients often needed for raw meals, and I have a hard time justifying buying them because, in addition to the cost, I know that with my time constraints, I will likely not get around to using them anyway.

Planning. I want a roadmap to plan a week to a month of raw meals with recipes that use up leftovers, pulp and nut meal from making milks, etc….

Eating raw REALLY isn’t a challenge…it’s just about prepwork. My challenge is the tools….or lack there of, specifically no vitamix….it really is the best tool to make preparation easy and fast. Your recipes rock and haven’t made a single thing that I didn’t like, thank you for that.

Sometimes the challenge is time & planning – fortunately I LOVE eating this way, I feel so much better. It helps when I spend Sunday preparing some things ahead of time, so when I get home from work, it’s easy & I’m not feeling like I want to fall off the wagon. Thank you for all you do!
