All you have to do to enter is write one sentence in the comments stating your biggest challenge to eating healthy. And if you don’t have any challenges, you can say that, too! Only one entry per person. If you have never commented here before, it will take a bit for your comment to appear. Make sure you only enter once.
Contest is now closed.
The contest will close Sunday, February 15th, 2015 at 10:00 pm pacific time. The winner will be chosen at random and will be posted on Monday morning. You must be 18 or older to enter.

My biggest challenge to eating healthy is stress.

My biggest challenge is that my living circumstances have changed, and I am now living with my son and his family. Since we have to share a kitchen, and I don’t have my own tools (or my cookbooks), I am not able to make as healthy food. That and adjusting to cooking for one.

In one sentence – my biggest challenge to eating healthy is the convenience of fast on the go food.

1. To change my mindset. Way too easy to revert back to old food habits when you have nothing planned.
2. Eat raw, while making dinners for family.
3. Stay strong while eating out and visiting family/friends.
4. Make raw lunches for work.
5. That tempting cup of Cappuccino.
Several challenges, but the biggest one is deciding on a diet and stick with it. At the moment I am going between Vegetarian, Vegan, Wholefood and Raw. It is hard to settle on one, and I feel I am failing if I can’t commit to one fully.

My biggest challenge is maintaining my healthy eating throughout the school year (I’m a secondary school teacher) knowing what to have when im stressed and being about to make quick meals and snacks when time is short. Specially when the students have exams etc I get just as stressed as they do! I know that in the long run eating the right food will combat the stress.

My biggest challenge is that sometimes I feel too tired to cook after a long work day, but those evenings we tend to have roasted vegetable bowls that we top with fresh greens and some sort of quick dressing. Very little work for a meal that is still healthful and warming. I think eating healthy is a lifestyle of cultivated habits and also preparation so I always fill my cart with good stuff at the grocery store. I love your site and would be so happy to win! xo

We found 3 main challenge to healthy eating 1) the feeling of what is there to eat if I’m excluding meat, dairy, refined sugar & refined carbohydrates and gluten grains 2) learning the properties of new ingredients 3) people who don’t understand.
Now we have a huge variety of delicious nutritious food that we can prepare easily and we just cook for people without explaining and they understand!

I went on a raw diet for two weeks last year, and saw a host of nagging physical symptoms I’d been living with simply disappear! But with a demanding job and all the obligations that come with raising a child, I find that I don’t have the time to prepare the recipes that I was using during those two weeks. I really wish I could get back to eating in a way that is demonstrably better for me than having to fall back on all those fast and/or highly processed foods….
