My biggest challenge is in avoiding junk food temptations that always pop up.

Planning ahead is my biggest challenge; without planning I tend not to eat as well.

My biggest challenge in eating healthy is having meals with friends and/or extended family members don’t share in similar eating habits. My eating habits are so vastly different than theirs that I’m asked what feels like TOO often about why I eat curtain ways. While in many cases I enjoy talking about the benefits of fermented foods, fats, broths, raw milk and more for the sake of informing my friends, but in some ways, I am asked by people not interested in the reason of my eating choices to learn or change, but because maybe perhaps they DON’T want my reason to be enough for them to change – as if what I say may give just enough absence of credibility for them to justify their eating habits. For those that are genuinely interested, I’d LOVE to share ALL DAY, but for those that aren’t and just notice my difference, I’d prefer to talk about other things. May it be so that our conversation at the dining table be about loving, rejoicing or even mourning with one another.

The biggest challenge I have with heathy eating is my cravings for sweets. At night while relaxing after a day’s work, while watching tv, I want my sweets… I know, the worst time of the day to crave chocolate! Suggestions of some “good for me” sweet snacks would be greatly appreciated!!’
