There are some big things happening around here and I can’t wait to share with you! I just am finishing my last day of my Challenge 21 full raw cleans and boy do I feel alive. So alive, I have decided to shake things up around here a bit. The fun part is that I need your help!

My first announcement is that my second raw food recipe book, “No Dehydrator Required” is well underway. After spending 9 months putting together Rawmazing Desserts, this one will go so much faster. A lot was learned along the way. “No Dehydrator Required” is going to be full of new recipes, tips, hints, and bonus information. All with the same level of ease and taste and quality that you are used to from Rawmazing.

Here is where I need your help. I have quite a list of recipes, but if there is any raw food recipe you would like to see me take on…just post a comment in the comment section and I will take a look! I am hoping (keep your fingers crossed) to have this one done by late October or early November.

My second announcement is that starting next week, we will be doing a give-a-way, every week through December! I am so excited about this as it gives me a great opportunity to introduce you to some of my favorite things! Check back Monday to see what our first week will bring! Also, if you have a product that you would be interested in having highlighted, drop me an email at Susan@Rawmazing.com.

I’d love to see a knock-off of One Lucky Duck’s Moon Pie!

You will have to ask them for that one…I like to create original recipes. 🙂

Laura: 125 will no longer be raw. You really have to keep it under 116 if you want to be raw. As for the mac and cheese…I will put a recipe in the book. 🙂

Bread would be extremely difficult to do with no heat. I think I would be a magician! But I am working on a soft, dehydrator version.

I have been getting into sprouting a lot. I would love to see more recipes for sprouts… salads, crackers, etc… But salads in particular. Oh, and how about Lasagna?! or any great Italian dish. How do you feel about ceviche?

I eat a ton of spiralized zucchini and summer squash. it’s my answer to mac and cheese, spaghetti, ramen noodles, soups from the noodle restaurant. I want my noodles swimming in something. The problem with that is that most recipes are nut based and I can only eat a small amount of nuts/seeds per day or I stop losing weight. I really need produce based versions of:

cream sauces (I was thinking nut milk?)
    cheese sauces
    broth
    gravy
    creamy soups

The two I eat the most right now are 1)spagetti and tomato sauce and 2) miso soup with 90 million little veggie things floating around in it. The things I used to use as a base were chicken broth and cheese sauce. I’m missing stuff like chicken noodle, french onion, mac and cheese. Everyone has sauce based with nuts, (or in the case of many vegan cooks, flour, which I can’t eat.) The other thing I miss? Real honest to goodness bread. Not crackers, not flatbread, but soft chewy bread I can smear nut butter and honey on.

Susan – You are amazing! Your recipes are more than I could ever dream up so I have no requests. Just wanted to thank you for the Rawmazing Desserts PDF I recently purchased. I love my Excalibur dehydrator but look forward to your No Dehydrator Required book too. You’re my favorite. I gave a short talk to our local food allergies group yesterday and introduced some of them for the first time to raw food and your website. I took food samples, of course, since that’s the best way to get people interested. They were so appreciative and motivated they inspired me to do better!

Oh hey, just got back to this and I feel so silly. I am really not all the way raw, but do eat a high percentage of raw. And also, love the ingredients, so I just lost my mind for a minute. So how about raw macaroni and cheese?

Oh, and by the way, I do have an oven with convection option. It goes pretty low too, though I’m not near it right now and can’t remember the number. Yes, over 118, but maybe only a little, like 125?

I pre-ordered and bought the RawAmazing Dessert book and love it! I would love the No-Dehydrator book – as I do not have one, and not sure if I want to invest in one. I can’t afford it now anyway. I know there is a whole other side to raw cooking with one, so the non-dehydrator way is GREAT!
