This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

I am interested in Raw Food, because it is basically a friend who brought it to me indirectly. She got sick of cancer and since she doesn’t speak English, I was doing an online research for her in order to learn about alternative medicine. I saw all these amazing people who cured themselves with illnesses that are usually not curable. Since then, I informed myself more and more on a daily basis. I am doing now a Raw diet and this is my 10th day.
I would like to learn more about this amazing food and health results and I hope this new life change becomes a permanent life style.

I’m more clear-minded when I eat raw! It’s simple. I’d like the blender to make unique, appealing creations. thanks.

I first got interested in Raw food because my son’s vocal and acting coaches and I have bartered extra classes for him in return for me being their personal chef. They eat Raw food 80% of the time the rest is vegan, I myself do not so after plenty of research online I came across your website and now its my bible!!! I have my 10 yr old son who didn’t like veggies and was a pain in the behind to get to try anything new be my personal taste tester because quite simply if the boy likes it his teachers will go bonkers for it. Since starting on this quest my son has fallen inlove with so many of the recipes we now have gone Raw our selfs at least 2 or 3 nights a week and love it both of us have lost weight an are feeling so much healthier. Also thanks to you this struggling single mom has now gotten a few more (paying) clients and am working towards bigger an better things!! I can’t begin to thank you and your website enough you have no idea the impact you have had on my life!!!!! I tell everyone who will sit still for a minute about your website and am constantly refering it not only to the home cookes but to the other chefs I have made friends with over the years!!

Juicing has helped me fight off 3 kinds of cancer during 1990-1993, when doctors gave up. Now I would like to introduce raw foods into my life and a good bender would come in handy. Since juicing is so good for you, I know raw foods have to be also. This will be a new experience for me and one I am looking forward too. Now that I am retired I have all the time I need to enjoy making raw food dishes and teaching others.
