KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

Raw because our food has energy that it imparts to us. If we cook it, we destroy that energy.

I’m a vegan and have experimented with raw foods for years without much success. My goal is ultimate health, to loose weight, longer life and to make sure when my children are adults, their idea of comfort food is fruit, vegetables and whole grains. Unfortunately, I still crave the cakes and cookies of my childhood. When eaten consistently raw foods heals my body, reduces my craving, stabilizes my weight and gives me energy. And I need all the help I can get!

Raw Food, the way we were intended to eat I think. Oh my goodness I love Raw food, the children are much happier on it too. I have only started on it and thrilled to have found your website and straight away subscribed to your newsletter. We would love to win a blender as ours is a very old one not quite up to task. Thank you for your generosity. Good luck everyone. 🙂

I’m recently fascinated by eating raw food because my son has been diagnosed with systemic lupus and I believe, based on what I’ve been reading, raw food will help lower his inflammation and generally be healthier for all of us.

Love you site, and have been a subscriber for nearly 2 years. Long time raw foodie. I now live in Ecuador, and would love to win this blender, as these things are 4’xs the price than in the US. I hope God blesses me.

Thanks for all you do to bring such loving, delicious recipes to us all.

My dream was to take the full course offered at Living light but could never come up with the money to do it. So being able to recieve these recipes is truly a blessing, and your web site is beautiful and informative.

I have an autistic son I’ve been trying the raw food lifestyle with. He has made some gains and I’m very excited to see where this new venture of ours will take him. He looks better(anxiety shows on his face), is sleeping better(would go days without sleeping…me too) has more awareness(wasn’t in tune to his surroundings) and it making lots more eye contact(not always locked up in his “world”) and his comprehension has increased(couldn’t understand simple commands like come here). Drinking raw green drinks are his favorite though we don’t have the right blender so I have to strain (loosing lots of nutrients) his drink. What an amazing addition the KitchenAid would be for his life!
