KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

Raw food is simple and joyful. It is what the earth provides us and this bounty reminds us how easy it is to be ourselves and in harmony with the all that we have access to. Simply Easily and Consciously – it is who we are already.

If it weren’t for this raw food lifestyle I’d still be suffering with fibromyalsia symptoms. I love giving things away…and what better gift than a blender so someone else can make green smoothies and get healthy!

My interest in raw food is based on the health benefits. As I grow older I need to take in foods that give me optimum energy.

Raw food has helped me loose weight and has helped my degenerative spinal disease from worsening. I have slowly added more and more raw meals to my weekly menu. Hopefully soon I will be fully raw ! Thanks for your great recipes !

A couple of years ago I first heard of the raw vegan lifestyle and did it cold turkey for 10 months. 8 was healthy and vibrant as I’d never been before. But I missed meat. Coming off it I still regret as the weight piled back on ang my general feeling of health deteriorated. It got bad enough a few months ago that I was moved to do a juice fast for 100 days, which I’m near the end of now, and am feeling awesome. So now I will continue to treat my body as the temple it is, and I’m going to raw veganise my life again! I know It’s the right thing to do.

All of my immediate family members are obese and have a host of medical issues because of it. I have decided to eat this way because I don’t want to live the life they now live due to their poor eating habits and excessive weight. I eat 90% raw, I’m able to maintain a very healthy weight and look much younger than my biological age!!!!

My sisters and I have psoriasis and I would like to win this to give it to one of my sisters to help her. I think raw food and green smoothies (which I have been doing/drinking for three years) will definitely help restore her health! She has four girls and it would greatly impact their household. Thank you for all that you do — I LOVE Rawmazing 🙂

I’ve been trying to switch over to raw food cause I’m tired of feeling awful after eating processed foods and want to live this life I have to it’s fullest.
