KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

I’ve been amazed at how well it’s going, eating mostly raw. And how the cravings aren’t there as I thought they would be. And how I’ve gone off the idea of dairy products altogether. I make my own almond milk and would never go back! I’ve been encouraging everyone around me.
Excited to see how this blender does, it’s great to have an alternative to the expensive blenders!

I need a adequate blender to fully participate in the recipes for a raw diet. I struggle to stick with the raw food concept without a blender, not to mention a dehydrator, but a dehydrator is not as important as a good blender. Right now all we have is a regular blender that will not handle nuts, etc.
    Thanks,
    Dee

I’m just jumping into the world of raw food….and I love it. A green smoothie a day keeps the doctor away!! This would be so great!!

I am on the road to raw foodism because it is a healthier way of life. In the past three weeks of eating raw and giving up my high blood pressure medicine that was only making my pressure worse and causing me anguish, both my lower and upper bp numbers have gone down by 30 points. I feel better, healthier and more energized. I am also very thankful for this site because the transition experience has been quite delicious. It is hard work, but I truly believe that anything worth doing takes some honest effort. Again, thanks for this wonderful site and book.

Ooops! I forgot the raw part! I went 95% raw a few years back and haven’t felt as good since then! The amazing thing was that I really didn’t miss what I wasn’t eating. My family however, wouldn’t ever consider going raw, but I am working on at least being 60% raw now. I made a declaration today that I will eat what I need to eat and just make two meals! I sooo want to feel that good again!

    Thanks!
    Becky
