KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

I LOVE raw food, but I struggle to get my husband to eat veggies. I know with a blender like this, I could get him to consume a whole bunch of nutritious raw deliciousness, without him even realizing! He needs it for his health so badly.

I was introduced to Raw Food about three years ago. The results are amazing. My neice introduced me to Rawamazing. I love the pictures and try almost very recipe. I do feel a Vitamix blender is almost necessary but I started out with a small nut grinder…if you really want it badly enough you will try anything! Keep up the great work.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with Osteopenia (border line of Osteoporosis – weakening of the bones) and all treatments through the pharmacuetical route failed. This included patches which caused rashes, pills, and even shots! At one point I decided to take my health seriously and venture into the alternative healing mode – through smooties. Through the internet I discovered green smoothies, raw food diets, and amazing superfoods. My latest bone density test showed that I was in the “Normal” range. This means I went from Osteopenia range past Low Normal Bone Density in to the Normal Bone Density!!!
Yes, I do green smoothies daily with raw veggies and to really spice it up, I use a little, very little habanero powder. I’m hooked on raw foods!
We should all join the “blending revolution!”
