KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

I have diabetes type 2 insulin dependent, I am working towards weaning myself off insulin and the other nasty diabetes drugs, raw is the way I see to do that.

A few yrs ago I was a walking timebomb – in constant discomfort due to my diet – I gave up diet soda (lost 40 lbs), started eating raw fruits & veggies and use Apple cider Vinegar for my sinus problems. Feel SO MUCH better

Living food makes me more efficient while living a busy lifestyle. It can be as easy or complex as you need it to be.

I eat raw because I find the recipes different, interesting, and delicious. I need to avoid wheat, and raw recipes make this easy and satisfying.

I would love to start eating raw. I’m very interested in trying your recipes. I’ve been making green smoothies for a while and recently my cheap blender bit the dust. I would love a new one!! Thanks so much for your newsletter.

Raw food is great at all stages of health and fitness. One of the best things you could do for a diseased body is to go raw immediately. Just keep it simple; buy local, organic, fresh, and in season.
