KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

Because of its freshness I simply feel drawn to raw food. So far raw food helped me to feel more alive during the day, less tired and more inspired to try new things. This definitely are reasons to try out even more. Thank you for all your ideas!

I have stage IV melanoma and with all the harsh chemo treatment I find that a healthy raw diet plus plenty of juicing has helped keep up my energy.

I am vegan and learning from your blog how to transition to a raw diet. Health and just feeling better are some of the reasons I want go raw. I have several digestive issues and think raw foods will help with these issues! Thanks for the opportunity and all of your information/recipes.

I’ve got Rawmazing up for my Homepage as should everyone else just to remind myself every chance I get that I need to be healthy. I lost 30 pounds right away doing 80/20…the 80 being raw and 20 being cooked. Susan’s recipes have inspired the chef in me because I can create without the guilt. But the best part is the endless health you will recieve if you go raw. Thank you Susan!

I am interested in eating raw food because I would like to lower my medications for blood pressure.
